Hi, my name is Bianca. I am a Folk Herbalist, Spagyric Alchemist, Earth & Plant steward, Celestial Farmer, & Mystic. I am currently in training to be a clinical alchemist & medical astrologer.

My craft weaves the connection between plants, the cosmos, the land, & people. I am excited about folklore, story-telling, mythic medicine, & indigenous shamanic ways. I am based in the majestic Mountains of Taos, located in Northern New Mexico.

I spend most of my time tending the land, community weaving, preparing plant medicines through the alchemical tradition, & reclaiming lost & forgotten ways. I believe in reclaiming the old & wise woman's ways through earth-based healing. My mission in this life is to educate, assist, & support those in reclaiming lost, indigenous, dormant, & mythic ways through revitalizing their connection to the natural & otherworlds. The most profound healing & transformation can occur when we reawaken our connection to the natural rhythms & cycles of the year, spirits & kinfolk of the land, & learn to perceive through the lens of the heart.

‘‘inside of every human being there is an overarching theme, a template for heroic living, a god or a goddess in embryo that yearns to be born. This is who we were meant to be, the self that we deny ourselves because most of us cannot see the field of limitless potential that is open to us. This is our best self, the egoless self, that bit of the universe acting through us for the good of all.’’

- Deepak Chopra

My journey Began, with an interest in the book “Women Who Run with The Wolves” by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. This specific literature was the beginning of what incentivized the impetus of a profound examination of my existence. the stories shared in that specific passage played a significant role that brought forth profound realizations of the spiritual & psychological work I needed to tend to at the time. Many of her works are inspired by the lens of Jungian psychology, ancient myths, and folklore that have been passed down for thousands of generations.

By the age of 19, I became disillusioned by industrial capitalism & conventional health care. For years I persistently sought out a deeper meaning through the exploration of many of the alternative healing arts. Many of the unconventional realms of holistic therapy sparked an infinite curiosity to discover a greater perspective in finding different approaches to healing for my own personal journey. After years of consistent exploration through travel & study, there was a moment in time when I intuitively felt something was inherently missing within all of these different healing modalities.

Ultimately, my intuition guided me through a series of synchronicities that I encountered through dreams, tarot readings, and spirit guides. These signs pointed my direction to a pathway that lead me towards merging my understandings & interests in folk medicine, Alchemy, Jungian psychology, Mythic medicine, Medical astrology, shamanic ritual & ceremonial magic. The discovery through the Alchemical lens was the missing piece to this immensely large puzzle I was seeking & attempting to piece together. Alchemy is the element that bridges all of these allegedly independent modalities. The practice of both internal & external laboratory Alchemy provides humans with a thoroughly holistic framework that diminishes suffering & creates a blueprint for true healing, evolution, & transformation to occur. The intention of this entity is to bridge the gap between all of my interests by showcasing how they all work together in conjunction to provide a language for alchemy to become intellectualized, experienced, comprehended, and actualized (embodied). laboratory alchemy is where inner standing & transformation is experienced. The practice of both internal alchemy & external laboratory alchemy (as within, so without) is where the diminishment of suffering & evolution begins. Where you begin to witness your psychological processes being reflected throughout the alchemical processes.

Early on, I discovered that we as a culture have accepted a very symptomatic approach to medicine. We have accepted it as an accurate form of diagnosis in our current western healthcare system and convinced ourselves to believe that there’s a “cure-all” for specific symptoms and ailments. however, Even today in our alternative healthcare communities we still see an allopathic approach throughout our administrations with clients by the “use this herb for that” method. Unintentionally failing to recognize the individual complexities & unique qualities of every single person.  In our current culture, we as a society often make the mistake of thinking by using natural remedies we are providing effective treatments. However, this approach simply ignores the wholeness of the person. A truly holistic practitioner sees the human as an extension of their environment inseparable from nature. With an understanding that misfortune and disease are simply an imbalance in natural harmony. This practitioner operates through the lens of a vitalist and has an understanding that the human body has a vital intelligence and an inherent natural ability to heal and rejuvenate itself. This understanding comes from the inner standing that nature ( an extension & reflection of our internal ecosystem) is intelligent and very much alive. When the practitioner administers medicines they have the understanding that they are providing remedies that assist & encourage the vital intelligence, not so that the patient then becomes reliant or dependent on these remedies but instead, supports the system as a whole. This practitioner also guides the patient to discover their own ability to find healing for themselves, that they are ultimately their own healer, guide, & teacher. That through unfortunate circumstances we evolve. Seeing illness as an initiation. The vitalist sees human beings as a reflection of the cosmos, their ecosystem, & takes into consideration the energetic principles, the Psychological, psycho-spiritual, emotional, & physical aspects altogether. Their goal is to address patterns & root causes that reside on an archetypal level. Every part of our being is connected and every part influences the other.

Teachers & Keepers of Wisdom

The discovery of the works of Clarrisa Pinkola Estes, Joseph Campbell, Marion Woodman, C.G Jung, Paracelsus, Judith Hill, Sajah Popham, & Stephen Harrod Buhner, (just to name a few of the biggest influencers & teachers of my work) have changed my entire perception on life & lead me to extremely profound realizations in the work that I practice today. My work has also been greatly influenced by the wisdom that resides in the presence of the living land, I am forever indebted to her for being my greatest teacher. I have learned so much from each of these immensely wise individuals, plant folk, & spirits. I feel extremely grateful & honored to be walking this holy path. The projects offered through this entity are in honor and reverence to these beings and in hopes of encouraging, empowering, & sparking the interests of others to assist in the continuation of their works & for the revolution of evolutionary medicine to continue to take place for generations to come.

My background in the work I practice today resides in my studies in Medical astrology with Judith Hill, Permaculture for the herbalist path with Sarah Wu, Plant Spirit Communication with Kami Mcbride, Alchemical & Vitalist Herbalism with Sajah Popham, and laboratory alchemy with Avery Hopkins & Robert Bartlet.

what mythos represents

“There is an underlying order shaping our life experiences. As we re-unify the psyche and cosmos we introduce a cosmic perspective and deeper meaning to our personal experiences”

- unknown

The heart and soul of mythos represent the renaissance of the feminine expression of alchemy. Mythos was born from a profound love & passion for the natural world, plants, the hermetic arts, folklore, Mytho-Poetic psychology, & to know thyself. All driven by the inspiration of nature, here we assist Sophia in the process of evolution & preservation of vitality.

We offer evolutionary medicines that provide a road map back to self-realization. mythos acts as a conduit for energy from the unseen & mystical realms and imbues this into the medicines we produce. the intention of this project is to exhibit archetypal medicines, correspondences, & imagery that animate certain psychological processes. The influence of the correspondences, imagery, stories, & experiences is to evoke certain memories from past encounters in order to confront & locate certain aspects of the self by exhibiting the interconnectedness of all things.

Mythos is influenced by the mythic landscapes & reawakening our capabilities to communicate & commune with plant spirits. here the importance of intention during the preparation of our extracts is a major focus. We offer only the highest quality medicinals with the purest intentions to assist with the most effective healing. In the Alchemical tradition, the alchemists have an understanding that if you have an ample understanding of the language of correspondences you can navigate your way through every experience in life. Mythos is dedicated to the understanding of the universal patterns in nature that connect all things through the language of correspondence.

This project is centered around artisanal small-batch plant talismans & immersive experiences through direct interaction with these offerings. This purpose is to enhance the sensorial effectiveness of the medicine. The medicines you will find on this page are ode’s to the planets and archetypes, they are made with the intention of opening up and accessing the pathways of the heart through emergence with the gods. Here we feature plant talismans that assist us through the shadow realm by working with them through ceremonial & shamanic ritual practices. We believe that true understanding and wisdom come when it’s applied through both intellectual & practical experience together. We offer divinatory tools that correspond to the potion’s corresponding planet or archetype to be worked with through meditations or plant spirit communication journeys.

Mythos bridges the intimately interwoven relationship of internal alchemy and external laboratory alchemy. Through imbibing in these tools we may start to witness what stories we are perpetuating & identifying with, what myths are we creating. what cultural & societal mythologies are we living through, & what certain beliefs are we holding onto to keep us complacent?

Path of Illumination

The primary intention of this entity is to exhibit a devotion to “the great work” by living in virtue we explore an inner alchemy. This website will be dedicated to providing a blueprint for those who choose to walk a path of integration and transformation. This path embraces both the divine masculine and divine feminine. When we choose to walk this path we are choosing to reclaim the divine mother and father within the heart uniting the two through the alchemical marriage. Many of the secrets of the ancients were encoded in a language of myth and story. However, most of us do not understand the deep symbology and significance of these stories because we’ve lost touch with our connection to the origins of our being and the ancient mysteries founded in deeper truths.

Man is a microcosm, or a little world, because he is an extract from all the stars and planets of the whole firmament, from the earth and the elements; and so he is their quintessence.

-Paracelsus
